✓  FREE on-line platform provided by the SDE that offer classes for Carnegie units during Fall, Spring, and Summer semesters.  

✓  Virtual SC classes are not part of the district’s or OWHS core schedule.
✓  Students must have access to high speed internet.
✓  Students must dedicate time after school hours to work on classes.
✓  Students must adhere to all Virtual SC dates, guidelines & communicate with assigned Virtual SC teachers. Students must maintain progress on all classes (CORE & ELECTIVES).
✓  Students are required to take a Final Exam for all Initial Credit (IC) classes (not Credit Recovery classes).  All exams will be proctored by OWHS Counselors during the exam window. Final grades will be posted at the end of each semester/year.

Log in to www.virtualsc.org to create an account.

a.       Main Page – “STUDENTS” and click on “NEW STUDENT ENROLLMENT” (complete the information).  This will generate a student Username and Password.
b.       DASHBOARD – enter student Username and Password
c.       Select Class(es) and await OWHS counselor approval
d.       Once class(es) are approved by counselor, the student will receive an email contact from Virtual SC instructor(s).
